Eddie Argenio,
a long time member of the
NY
Mercantile Exchange,
and great supporter of the Dr. Theodore Atlas
Foundation. The members of the NY Mercantile Exchange
have honored Eddie Argenio's memory and support of
the Foundation by making a significant contribution to
assist in the establishment of the food pantry. The
Foundation also expresses it's appreciation to
Frank D'Amato
of the NY Mercantile
Exchange for coordinating the donation for the food
pantry and ensuring a lasting memorial to Eddie Argenio.
Additionally, the food
pantry has been made possible through the efforts of our
two
New York City Council
Members,
Hon. Michael McMahon
and
Hon. James Oddo.
Both of these Council members obtained significant City
funding for the Foundation to assist in the
establishment of the food pantry.
The Foundation is also
grateful to the
Rev. Msgr. Nicholas
Soares,
Pastor for his support and guidance in assisting in the
establishment and operation of the food pantry in his
parish. Msgr. Soares, and his staff
Virginia McCarron
and
Dilkusha Panditaratne,
along with parish volunteers have committed themselves
to help those in need.
Finally, but most importantly, the Foundation thanks all
